Erik is obsessed with rockets. Obsessed. But, he’s afraid of it, which is quite humorous. He’s so afraid of launching it that he refuses to pushes the launch button. But, we still make it a team effort by making him do the count “down” (he counts to 5). Our first rocketry experiment left the rocket in the neighbors tree, so this time we dragged Patti along with the camera and went to a large hay field that was plenty big enough.
This time we didn’t lose the rocket into any trees:
Since we were able to recover it every time we will be able to launch it another day, after we find a source for motors that doesn’t require a trip to Binghamton or Cicero.
