Brandon and I were reminiscing tonight about how we didn’t miss changing diapers. Erik has been potty trained for almost a year now, and let me tell you, bliss. He still comes in the house and announces he has to go poop. Then he yells when he is done. If you are one of those lucky fortunate people who come over when this happens you will then hear Brandon yelling back “no Erik, I don’t want to look at your poop.” Erik retorts with “yes you do.”
God I love my family.

I’ve decided that instead of printing out tons of candids and sticking them in a photo album, I’ll join the club and make Erik a book instead.
Honestly, it’s less work in the long run. It takes a bit of time to begin with, but I think the end result is much nicer. And it’s all done at once. I hope he likes it.
I have lots more. I also have finished the 1 year book and started his birth year book. I am in the process of starting his 3rd year book, and this one I’ve changed the styling away from baby. Sad.

So Erik has discovered this new way he likes to torture Drake. He finds whatever he can and attaches him to his truck while he drives around.
I guess I can’t say it’s torture. Drake prances along side him when he is driving. And when he has the chance to get away, he doesn’t.

Last Friday when B’s dad took Erik for the day, he first took him fishing. Erik caught a few fish, but here is his first.
