Yesterday afternoon, I downloaded my very first book on my nook.
I’m already done.
This can’t be good.

Okay, so I’m not big on pushing my political ideologies on anyone. Nor am I even interested in getting in a tirade while speaking to my husband about it in the comfort of my home. It stresses me out too much, and I get fed up with feeling stressed out.
But, well, this struck me as funny. I generally read the BBC for my news, because, I like them. That’s pretty much the only reason. Haha. Anyway, they had a news story on the televised health care reform from today. This is how the article ended:
“The US is the world’s richest nation and the only industrialised democracy that does not provide healthcare coverage to all its citizens.”
Such a stab at the American government! I love it. And yet there are still people out there that are fighting this thing tooth and nail. I think it’s time to move, to like, England or something.

My email:
“Syracuse University classes starting at 2 p.m. or later today, Thursday, Feb. 25, are canceled, including University College classes and Drumlins Tennis co-curricular and physical education classes.”
Pure crazyness I tell you! SU never ever ever closes. And well, honestly, it has barely snowed here. I mean, not even enough to tell the difference from when we got up this morning. ?

So, what we hoped to work out worked out. Come again you say?
I know, our luck shits the bed, but alas, sometimes you have to believe things will work out and they will.
Or you can just follow my line of thinking and just think things aren’t going to work out and be damned surprised when they do. Life is far more interesting that way…never get disappointed. Brandon’s grandfather always said that. Don’t expect much out of life and you’ll never be disappointed. It’s a far happier life to live then one full of expectations that are never filled. Smart man I say.
Anyway, getting to the point, since I lack the capabilities to do it in a timely fashion (I’m turning into Brandon…woo!), Brandon is a proud new owner of an iMac. He unexpectedly got a very large unexpected bonus (did I mention that it was unexpected?) Since we have been able to cushion ourselves with the gracious help of my loving mother, we were able to spend some money and get Brandon his very own computer. He is all growed up now. Aww.

I have officially finished both of my outlines. The DV one was not very fun, either. I really probably should logically be doing DV, since I will be doing my internship at a women’s shelter. Hmmm…one would think I would consider this before just now. Oh well, whatever, I put the work in, I’m handing in both. Thankyouverymuch.
And get this crap…I actually like Stats. And doing Stats homework. And I got a 97 (before the curve) on my Stats tests. Maybe I should have been a Stats major (I feel like I’m having a flashback, I’ve said this before).
And Brandon is sick. Again. It smells like vapor rub up here (barf).

Did anyone ever notice that all of the Grey’s Anatomy episodes titles are song titles?
Anyone recognize who stole that idea? Hmm…
So have you ever had to change where you park because of creepy parking lot guy?
I have. Sucks.
I’m currently working on a outline for an intervention I have to create. I want to do self-injury, but my professor isn’t so fond of the subject. He wants me to do domestic violence, so he agreed to look over my outline for self-injury, but be prepared to do DV anyway. So, that means I get to do TWO outlines. For the price of one! Lucky bastard professor. Hrmph.
Today has proved to be interesting. Work hard now, play hard later, right? Yea, wrong here. Saturday was busy, with dinner for Suzie and Erik skiing. Sunday was very…unbusy. We did pretty much nothing all day. I messed around with pictures (and my new love, Aperture, <3, or less than 3). I did do the dishes, some type of domestically gendered duty that I’m supposed to fulfill. I made dinner too. I’m a total rockstar. Other than that, yep, we did nothing (Brandon successfully built a firehouse out of Trio blocks).
So, with all that crazy busyness that we had, I had absolutely no time to do any work! Right. Heh. Okay so I was totally lazy and slacked off. I studied for a test about 4 hours before the test, and now I’m doing an outline that’s due tomorrow (well I have 1 done, just gotta knock out another). I still have stats homework to do too. Haha. I’m never this much of a procrastinator, and it’s still the beginning of the semester. Oy vey, this is gonna be a long one.
