Well, as these current debates are some of the most painful that I have lived through in my short 25 years (yes, I will still claim I am 25 for the next 7 days, I’m not giving it up yet), I just want to go to sleep. No one can answer a question. All they can do is point out the problems. Their answers are we need to reevaluate, need to change, need to look at the big picture. No way! *crossing eyes* I didn’t realize that was all it took to become a senator. Actually, yes I did, we have President Bush.

Anyway, as I’m not horribly interested in talking about this much more, we will move on. So today it rained horribly. Brandon let the dogs out when he left and tied them up on their lines. As Erik and I slept in a little bit more than normal (Erik was up late last night after suffering from a head injury) the dogs got quite wet. Normally, this wouldn’t be such a problem. All you have to do is bring the dogs in, leave them in the back room, wait till they dry, life is happy, right? Well, we have no grass. Seriously. We used to. Logan has decided that he doesn’t so much like grass so our entire back yard is, dirt. So as one can assume, two dogs, out in the rain for 2 hours, in a dirt filled back yard, that they would be quite…dirty. Well dirty wasn’t the word. Drake was no longer blonde. He was black. From head to toe. Logan was still black of course but alas, not as dirty. Fun thing is just 2 days ago I went through and bleached the backroom so we could put new flooring down in there. As that was the only place to put the wet sopping dogs, we now have a dirt floor in the backroom, again. I had to get Drake upstairs to give him a bath before all of it dried in his very long hair. That was an escapade itself. Erik helped me (literally) and we got him clean. We had to use the shower. On a dog!!!! *sigh* Drake is definitely high maintenance. He looks pretty though. I was running out of puppy shampoo so he got some biosilk shampoo too. He’s definitely very stylish. I still miss Max though.

So only 14 more days until I’m back at work. Well, maybe less depending on what the Dr says monday. I hope my other Dr gets back to me soon, because the pain in my back just keeps getting worse. I feel like I’m slowly dying, pieces of me chipping away at a time. And people tell me I age well….cha.
