So we have two dogs, and if anyone knows us they already knew this.

One, Logan, sleeps downstairs in Erik’s room. The other, my small-ish dog Drake, sleeps upstairs with us. Well, Drake snores louder than Brandon. Yes, a mighty feat but one he has conquered. He weighs 25 pounds. And he snores like a trucker (why do truckers snore loud? I never understood that analogy).

So at night I generally sleep with earplugs. Because of the dog. Sheesh.

30 Before 30

~~1. Have a reason to get a passport, and actually get one.~~

2. Go to a country outside of North America.

3. Take Drake to a dog park for the day.

~~4. Take Erik to the Museum of Play.~~

5. Go see a symphony.

6. Go to an art museum (other than MOMA).

7. Put some funky colored stripes in my hair (and real ones, not the clip on kind).

8. Go sailing.

9. Get new sheets for my bed.

~~10. Own a pair of stylish boots.~~

~~11. Buy a nice looking jacket that’s not a North Face.~~

~~12. Vote in something other than a Presidential election.~~

13. See my good friend Lauren’s daughter, Ava.

14. Make a pie.

15. See my niece graduate and get her an awesome present.

16. Redo my bathroom (I’m going with anything on this one including, painting, doing the floor, finding new furniture for in there, anything counts).

17. Go school shopping for Erik and not cry.

~~18. Clean out my desk.~~

19. Get a speedlight flash for my camera.

20. Completely finish a paper or project a week before it is due.

~~21. Get a nose ring~~

22. Iron every piece of clothing that I own.

23. Read ALL of Anna Karenina.

24. Do something amazingly special for Brandon just so he knows I love him.

25. Do something amazingly special for Erik just so he knows I love him.

26. Paint something that I would be willing to display.

27. Learn to play a full song on the piano, without looking, both hands included.

28. Visit my dad’s grave site.

29. Hook a friend up with someone that they will actually be interested in.

30. Catch a fish in Song Lake.
