Today is one of those stay in bed and watch movies days.  I could say that is what we have done, but as I have so much bloody reading to do, Erik has stayed in bed and watched movies while I have sit in much pain at this horrible desk.

Anyone want to buy us a new desk chair?

And oh yea, it really hurts my back, too (yes, my back still hurts).

I do however, have some happy pictures to share.

Before we left Florida my dear niece Simone painted all our nails.  Including Caitlyn.  I hope someday if we ever live near Caitlyn I can steal her for girly days where we paint our nails and do fun stuff.  And of course I’ll dress her up.

So I know I’ve mentioned before that we have a slightly deranged cat.  She always tries to clean us.  Well, last night I finally caught it on camera.

It creeps me out, but it appears the boys have a little more stamina than poor old me.

Well, as we have had to turn the stove on now today (I can’t believe it’s not snowing), there isn’t much grand picture taking opportunities.  I did, however, get to snap some shots of my boy loving his boy.

I’m so happy Erik has at least someone to play with.

So without further ado, I must be off to read the Bible.  I’m almost done with Genesis (yayayayayay).

Brandon’s face pretty much sums up the way I’m feeling, though.

That’s his grumpy I’m yelling at Erik face.  He was literally yelling at Erik.  Swear.  : )

So, according to our Division President, our strategy for the next year is to “penetrate the customers” and “penetrate the market.”  Are we supposed to be reading between the lines like everyone in the room did?

This was a Super Bowl ad, but I think it’s pretty cool.  Especially since it’s Valentine’s Day.  Call me a sucker, but I think it’s cute.

There is nothing worse in life than having to wash your hands with a winter jacket on.  Okay maybe there are worse things, but you know, it really sucks. Especially when you can only wash your fingers because if you wash your whole hands water will start running down your arm.  Like when you were a kid, instead it was pee and it was running down your leg.

So the age old question, Firefox or Safari?  I never used Safari for it’s lack in ability to save passwords for websites I use often, but it seems to have corrected that problem in some places.  It works a lot faster than Firefox and it doesn’t crash nearly as much.  But, well, it’s just not Firefox.  Maybe Firefox has lost some of it’s new car smell.

And I just gotta say that I’ve always been impressed with those bloggers who can sum up a whole witty thought into a sentence or two.  I’ve never been that gifted, to say the least.  So I figure from now on out I will just start breaking up my posts.  Into one or two sentences.  Fun, no?

To sing horribly.  I have always had an, okay singing voice.  It’s easy for me.  But as I have semi-laryngitis, I’m singing like Brandon.  No burn, dear, it’s just the truth.  :-)

Christmas tree season is deadly to me.  I am so sick.  Blast.  Erik’s runny nose is going away. At least someone is feeling better.  Sheesh.

We ordered all this crap over the past few weeks, and all of a sudden it’s all coming tomorrow.  Minus two things, which should be here anytime now.  One of the things is our new camcorder.  Yay.  All of this anticipation and it’s probably going to suck.  Ha.  So our life.

I only have 4 things left this semester.  2 papers and 2 tests.  Doesn’t sound like much, but it’s a ton, and I’m stressing.  I need to get going on one paper, I haven’t even done the research yet.

I haven’t been sleeping again.  Anyone know any good sleep remedies?  BOOO.

So I had today “off.”  My professor canceled class in spirit of the holiday, and so people could go home earlier.  As I’m not a normal college student, and I’m already home, it turned into a day off for me.  I still took Erik to daycare today, as he only goes one day a week, and it’s already paid for.  I really really really really should be working on homework.  I have a book that I need to read asap.  But alas, I’m sitting on my computer doing nothing.

I spent a large majority of the afternoon playing scramble.  I’m seriously insane sometimes.  I kept getting in first place online over and over and over again, so then it became addicting.  I think I ended up in 1st place at least 90% of the time.  Damn me and my extensive vocab.  Or my extensive playing of scramble which has made my vocab extensive.  Whichever gave where, who cares, it’s fun.  And I really should be cleaning.  And giving Drake a bath.  And DEFINITELY reading for school.  So, I’m going to go, and pretend that I’m going to do that, when I probably won’t.  Ha.

So I have this Dr. that is in downtown Syracuse. His office is in the state tower building on the 16th floor. It’s a really nice office and I like the Dr. but I have a huge problem with the elevator up to the 16th floor. As a person who isn’t that afraid of heights, why does this bother me? When I’m in the elevator it goes up a little and I’m like okay time to stop and get out. But no it keeps going and going. And going. It’s the longest elevator ride ever. And since it keeps going I start to panic and feel claustrophobic. It’s insane. Going down I have the same problem. I think such high offices should be outlawed. If you want to work up there fine, but don’t torture your patients and make them ride in an elevator for 20 minutes. Then again I’m probably the only one with this complaint. Heh.
